Purpose
Email-ID and Mobile Number are mandatory requirement for demat and trading account as per rules and regulation of SEBI.For the purpose of receiving annual reports, statements,contract notes, information, notices and other important documents& communication from various Companies, Depositories, Depository Participants, Registrars & Transfer agents. A client can choose the mode of receiving documents from the Stock Broker whether in physical mode or digital mode. PRSSB always encourage its clients to update their mobile number and email ID to receive regular reports, updates and amendments time to time.
Policy
- Clients need to provide their registered email ID and mobile number while opening demat/trading account with PRSSB.
- Along with registered email ID and Mobile number, they need to enable option if they want to receive the contract notes, statements and other reports in digital mode.
- Clients can register their email ID or Mobile Number by submitting written request to DP initially. After that by making a request to PRSSB via originally registered Email ID or by providing a modification form duly signed by the account holder/s to PRSSB to update details.
- Any client can register same email ID and mobile number for 5 accounts by providing declaration to PRSSB. In exceptional cases more than 5 accounts would be eligible for same email ID and Mobile number. These accounts should be of self, spouse, dependent children or dependent parents.
- Client may receive alerts directly from NSDL as well as DP in case of any changes in any of the KYC details.
