Pravin Ratilal Share and Stock Brokers Limited (PRSSB) have adopted Fair PracticeCode to provide transparency in business dealings with its customers.These Fair practicestandards help the Company and its employees to provide bestservices to customers.

This code shall apply to all employees of PRSSB and authorise person to represent it in the course of its business, whether the products and services are provided across the counter, over the phone, by post, through interactive electronic device, on the internet or by any other method.

This Fair Practice Code is aimed to provide to the customers effective overview of Practices, in respect of the financial products and services offered by the Company to its customers. The Code will facilitate the customers to take informed decisions in respect of the financial products and services to be availed by them.

benefit_bullet Objectives:

Primary objectives behind adopting of this code are:

  1. Promote good, fair and trustworthy practices in dealing with the customers;
  2. Increase transparency to enable the customers to have a better understanding of what they can reasonably expect of the services.
  3. Encourage market forces, through competition, to achieve higher operating standards;
  4. Promote a fair and cordial relationship between the customers and the Company.

benefit_bullet Commitments:

  • PRSSB shall adhere to this code to act fairly and reasonably in all dealings, on the ethical principle of integrity and transparency, to meet the standard practices prevalent in the industry. PRSSB would provide clear information, without any ambiguity, to the customers in understanding:
  1. The products and services together with its terms and conditions including service charges/tariffs
  2. The benefits available to customer
  • PRSSB will deal quickly and sympathetically in attending to the customer's complaints in light of the objectives of this code
  • PRSSB shall treat all personal information of customers as private and confidential and shall not divulge any information to third person unless required by any law or Government authorities including Regulators or where the sharing of information is permitted by the customer.
  • PRSSB will not discriminate between our customers on the basis of their gender, race or religion. Our policy is to treat all the clients consistently and fairly. Our employees will offer assistance, information and service in a fair, equitable and consistent manner.
  • PRSSB will also communicate our Fair Practices Code to our customers by placing it on the company’s website.

benefit_bullet Disclosure and Transparency:

PRSSB would provide any important information related services, products, notice, amendments & announcements, brokerage, fees and charges etc. through:

  1. Publishing on the website of the Company
  2. Putting up notices in head office and branches
  3. Through telephones or help lines
  4. Through designated staff/help desk
  5. Providing service guide/tariff schedule

benefit_bullet Share Information to Regulatory Authorities:

PRSSB would give information about customers to Depositories, Exchanges or other Regulatory Authorities as and when requiredon: -

  1. Opening and operation of Demat/Trading account
  2. KYC and registration documents
  3. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the customer to recover the dues, if any
  4. Debts settled through legal recourses against the customer
  5. Receiving of any notice or alert against the customer

PRSSB may give Depositories, Exchanges or other Regulatory Authorities other information about the customer's account if law requires it or the customer has given them his/her permission to do so.

benefit_bullet Complaints and Grievance:

PRSSB would strive for customer satisfaction within the framework of law, adopted policies and procedures.

The Company has a separate policy in place with respect to Grievance Redressal. The same is displayed on the website of the Company www.prssb.com and may be referred to for details pertaining to grievance redressal process and escalation matrix.

Such alternation/amendments may be displayed at the notice boards of the branches /Corporate Office/ website of the Company for the benefit and information of the customer.
